Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling and route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document all transportation activities and report any incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work flexible schedules
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
