Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package and food delivery across San Diego County
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory records for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and customer inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving license preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
