Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food orders, and retail items to designated locations within NYC boroughs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time tracking via company mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs to fleet management
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on traffic and delivery priorities
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds consistently
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for real-time communication
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory for employment)
