Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) for regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load delivery and pickup
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with regional Midwest geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Required TWIC card for port access
