Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to customers across Memphis and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, resolving inquiries professionally
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and maintain organized vehicle storage
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or clean driving record with Class C license
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in delivery or logistics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and basic mobile technology
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality record
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
