Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or goods to designated locations within specified timeframes
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle for cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery policies
- Communicate delivery status updates and potential delays to dispatch team promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in delivery or transportation role
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned depot/warehouse
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
