Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Columbus metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Load/unload packages up to 50 lbs with proper lifting techniques
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years driving history)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Columbus neighborhoods and major highways
- Experience operating box trucks or cargo vans preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs consistently
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Previous delivery or logistics experience a plus
