Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery inquiries promptly
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet time targets
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address route challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Diego streets and navigation systems
- Proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Pass background check and drug screening
