Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to customers across New York and Virginia
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC and Virginia road networks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with delivery tracking applications
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
