Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, or goods according to scheduled routes and timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee area and Wisconsin roadways
- Experience with delivery logistics, route optimization, or GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
