Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on designated routes within the Tampa area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation, including delivery receipts and bill of lading.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients by delivering goods on time and in excellent condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
