Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods and materials between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation following DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Report mechanical issues and assist with basic vehicle maintenance when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and transportation regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
