Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive shipments across Virginia
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle cargo loading/unloading with precision and care
- Respond professionally to route changes and urgent delivery requests
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Virginia roadways
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
