About the Role
You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the Northeast corridor. We pride ourselves on safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Navigate complex routes efficiently while maintaining a high safety rating.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Commercial Driver's License).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Minimum 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
