Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or merchandise to customers within designated San Diego routes
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle for cleanliness, safety, and mechanical functionality
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Diego streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
