Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for on-time deliveries
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
- Represent our company professionally at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with eastern US routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
