Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Implement defensive driving practices to ensure cargo and public safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficient in trip planning and route navigation technology
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
