Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Secure and verify cargo integrity before and during transit
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb trailer decks
- Strong knowledge of hazmat/dangerous goods handling (preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
