Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Ohio and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and delivery efficiency
- Submit daily trip reports and delivery documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Ohio state and interstate highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and bill of lading procedures
