Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across the Northeast corridor
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining excellent customer service
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and delivery coordination
- Secure cargo and handle loading/unloading procedures
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of NYC metro area and surrounding states
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
- hazmat endorsement preferred
