Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on strict timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate Portland's urban and suburban routes efficiently
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and Oregon highways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Proven safety record and commitment to regulatory compliance
