Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods across NYC metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries using GPS technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- NYC driving familiarity preferred
