Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Resolve delivery exceptions and communicate delays proactively
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with at least 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend deliveries
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Must be 23+ years old with TWIC card if required
