Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Handle secure loading/unloading of diverse cargo types including dry van and flatbed
- Document delivery receipts and handle billing paperwork with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Antonio metro area and Texas highway systems
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery standards
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend shifts
