Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van & refrigerated) for regional and long-haul routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and border crossings
