Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (trucks, vans, or trailers) safely and efficiently across local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight with care, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (Electronic Logging Device) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of El Paso and surrounding area roadways.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
