Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within the Tampa Bay area
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital documentation for all shipments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Uphall all DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required
- Minimum 2 years commercial box truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26 ft) with current registration
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
