Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' trailers) for regional routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and priorities
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills (GPS familiarity)
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Texas residency required for regional routes
