Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (26+ ft box trucks) for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation via ELD systems
- Verify cargo integrity and secure loads per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and time-sensitive deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all FMCSA safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts and occasional weekends
