Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all shipments
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and load tracking
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Secure cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques and restraints
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and border crossing procedures
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend deliveries as needed
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
