Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and mileage records
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delays or route changes
- Represent the company professionally with customers and at loading docks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas highway system and regional regulations
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as needed
