Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional freight routes
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Utilize GPS systems for route optimization and real-time communication
- Manage proper loading/unloading procedures and cargo security protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with transportation software
- Clean background check and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
