Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines
- Inspect and maintain vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time updates
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and Mid-Atlantic routes
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 75 lbs
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
