Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across Northern California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Handle loading/unloading with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proven experience with freight transport and hazmat familiarity preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend shifts
