Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and delays
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally with all clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be 21+ years old with valid US driver's license
