Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to customers within designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and ensure proper handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends
