Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes in San Diego County
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent Pacific Transport Solutions professionally at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one through our training program
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and inventory
- Strong time management and route-following abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Positive attitude and commitment to safety excellence
