Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo according to industry standards
- Operate in diverse weather conditions across multiple states
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- DOT medical certification current
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Proven safety record and defensive driving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- Basic navigation and route planning knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
