Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in a safe, timely, and legally compliant manner.
- Perform thorough quality checks on packages before loading and after delivery to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure a positive brand image and resolve any delivery issues.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, adhering strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company regulations.
- Utilize handheld devices for logging deliveries, updating customer status, and managing route information.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections at the start and end of shifts and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal appearance and uniform standard.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and digital logging.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for training purposes (if required).
