Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul deliveries across Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques to prevent damage
- Adhere to HOS regulations and maintain impeccable safety records
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
