Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes
- Load/unload freight with no-touch equipment and proper securing protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD compliance)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Collaborate with dock teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (minimum 1 year experience)
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated trailers preferred
- Knowledge of Columbus, OH regional highway system
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Team player with excellent communication skills
