Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) to transport goods across Florida and the Southeast
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and local traffic laws
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Document delivery receipts and resolve shipment discrepancies promptly
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or CDL school graduate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems
- Strong time management and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
