Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods per DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when necessary
- Comply with all federal/state transportation laws and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Flexibility for varied shifts and overnight routes
