Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport in construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials efficiently using hydraulic systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch teams
- Perform minor equipment troubleshooting on-site
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach area routes
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Physical ability to handle outdoor work conditions
