Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials (gravel, sand, asphalt) using proper equipment protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient delivery schedules
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Maintain clean driving record and traffic law compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
