Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensuring vehicle compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Operate in various weather and terrain conditions
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Dump truck and/or construction hauling expertise
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area routes
- Flexibility for early morning start times (5-6 AM)
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge preferred
