Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, gravel, sand, and debris to job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all hauls
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules
- Navigate diverse terrains and weather conditions with precision
- Represent Coastal Logistics Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction/agriculture
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme temperatures
- Knowledge of Corpus Christi area roads and industrial zones
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
