Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and landscaping supplies across job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules and minimize downtime
- Operate equipment in diverse terrain including urban areas, coastal zones, and mountainous regions
- Adhere to strict environmental protocols for material handling and disposal
- Provide exceptional customer service to contractors and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction/transportation
- DOT medical certification and clean driving record (MVR)
- Proficiency in reading maps, GPS navigation, and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in variable weather conditions
- Knowledge of Hawaii DOT regulations and construction site safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
