Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) to job sites
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient delivery scheduling
- Operate specialized equipment (e.g., belly dumps, end dumps) as required
- Maintain clean, organized, and DOT-compliant vehicle interiors
- Respond professionally to on-site adjustments and emergency reroutes
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random substance screening
- Proficient in trip planning and GPS navigation systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and weather-dependent schedules
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
