Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area routes and construction sites
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and defensive driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
